We are a small family run business and we love to help people. We strive to make a big impact in our customer’s day by completing small and large handyman projects to a high standard.

About Rob
Rob has loved working with his hands and solving problems since a young age which led him to spend 24 years as a Chief Engineer in the Royal Navy. He went on to become a self-employed timber framer and started a timber frame manufacturing business in the UK. Rob is also a highly qualified Project Manager who completed over 50 high end house builds. After selling the company, Rob emigrated to Canada in 2016 whilst working as a Chief Engineer on super yachts.
More recently, the call of the mountains and family life in Squamish led Rob to set up Highlands Handyman so he gets to spend more time in this beautiful town we call home. Rob has four children ranging in age from 6 to 27, a dog and a puppy and is happily married to Antonia.
Rob’s experience is diverse and he has training in a number of trades. No need to line up multiple contractors to come to your home when you can contact Highlands Handyman for all your home maintenance and repair needs.
