Here are answers to some of the most Frequently Asked Question's we get asked about our handyman services.

Will you come out for small jobs?
No job is too small. Our minimum charge is 2 hours. If the job is complete and there is time left, we can finish off other small jobs on your odd job to-do list

Is an onsite consultation required for every project?
Please email us or fill out the contact form and provide details of exactly what tasks you are needing help with. We will get back to you and we can discuss your project, the estimated cost and schedule your repairs.
Onsite assessments are typically required for larger, more involved projects. We will come to your site, do a walkthrough with you and provide you with an estimate.

Do you have all the required tools for the job?
We arrive at your home or business with a fully loaded truck that acts as a mobile workshop. We are ready to tackle any repair or maintenance job.

Who purchases supplies?
Clients often choose to supply their own materials. Any additional materials, consumables and equipment rentals are billed as extra items. We do not apply a surcharge to any materials but bill for our time spent in store.

What are your rates?
For handyman services:
$90 per hour
2 hour minimum
For jobs requiring electrical/ plumbing work:
$120 per hour
2 hour minimum
Time starts when I am at your door.
$35 call out fee for jobs outside Squamish (Britannia Beach, Furry Creek and Whistler)

Are you insured?
We are insured and licensed. We carry $2,000,000 liability insurance.

Do you work evenings and weekends?
Yes, we accept appointments booked outside of regular business hours (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. Please note that additional charges apply for this service.
9 I What is your cancellation policy
To cancel or reschedule please email info@highlandshandyman.ca or call Rob on 604 849 2450 and we will do our best to reschedule your appointment to a time and date that is more convenient for you.
We do request that all cancellations be made 48 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. Any appointment canceled with 48 hours will be subject to an $80 fee.
